Spring break?

UPDATE:

Good run up until Heigan (where we wiped miserably because people couldn't do the dance). We still got [The Safety Dance] so there is a possibility you can do Immortal even if you wipe at Heigan. But sadly, 1 person died at KT from Detonate Mana and one from Frost Blast.

Another retry is scheduled for today, Feb 19th. Login AFTER 11:00am (GMT-5), leader TBA. VENTRILO IS MANDATORY (set it to connect to Magic-WoW vent). I will not be around to lead, but this is scheduled because I know a lot of people want to retry it. Hopefully, an officer (IE. Puszupek/Hrotgar/etc.) can lead. Also, if you guys can help out Bigsids kill 10nm LK that'd be awesome.

Guess we failed today at 4HM. I think it's because Sir Zeliek wasn't faced away from the raid.. and some ranged were standing too close to the boss. BUT REGARDLESS it was a good run up until that point.

WE WILL TRY AGAIN. TODAY, Feb 18th, 12:00pm (GMT-5). Evo leading. VENTRILO IS MANDATORY (set it to connect to Magic-WoW vent). You can find a guide on Ventrilo connection HERE. Regardless of how the raid goes, we WILL COMPLETE 25 MAN NAXXRAMAS. Yogg-Saron will follow Immortal, regardless of how the raid turns out.

Things I still want to try before cata (in order of priority):

• Naxxramas Immortal Run (This becomes a Feats of Strength after we go Cata because you cannot do this in Cataclysm)
  
• Ruby Sanctum 10 Heroic
  
• Ulduar Yogg-Saron 10/25 man hardmode
  

If anyone's down for any of the above, let me know.

What class is worth playing in cata? I mean which class could do the most dps?

Retardins, DKs and fire mages.

I'm up to do all of those options, even though I've never done yogg except that one fail attempt

Rofl. Halion HC isn't that hard. Yogg-Saron is doable as long as you have 10 people that understand what it means to NOT CLICK the boss in phase 1/2. Not that there's a reason because all you're doing is running around killing mobs.

I'll be on cata likely, i don't see a point going to frozenlol to join spaintards in killing the LK. They can't even clear 25hc without scripts, you expect them to be able to do it with? Not to mention all those donors with OP gear.

@hrotgar: I dunno, just login everyday after 11am EST (GMT-5) and see who's online. I'm thinking maybe during the weekend (Feb 15-17th or Feb 22-23) will be more likely for us to be able to do these achievement runs.

Trust me retardins are OP in PvE. just get clc ret addon and u can faceroll it like in wotlk.

Im telling u what i remember from Fall of Deathwing patch.
Ofcourse, im playing with retardin, but i diddnt pve much.

edit: btw frost mages were realy OP on pvp. I remember bg's where 3 horde fmages pwned whole alliance team.
I did arenas with Warrian's hunter - ret+BM wasnt that bad. Rets had rly good heals on cata. Word of glory was like Lay on hands.
To cap weekly conquest it was perfect and fast.

News flash! Frost mages rape pvp since the beginning of wow paladins can't touch frost mages if played correctly

They just have so much damn crowd control that a good player with macros and multitasking skills can easily manage 2v1s

In wotlk when I arena with veoo and we fail a burst and he dies I have to 2v1. Depending on the comp and how many cooldowns were wasted frost mages can shutdown one with poly/freeze/slows and burst insane DMG to the other to win. For example a rouge without cooldowns is basicly a walking NPC you can kite for dayssss

To summarize, roll a Mage for the best pve/pvp experience if you enjoy the class

I know for a fact I can beat ret pallies on 100% health in wotlk though.

QFT. Too true. Frost mages have been rape in almost every end patch expansion lmao.

in wotlk they had rly good cc, so they slowly killed enemy with their low dps spells
but on cata they used to 2-3 shot ppl. The damage has increased a lot.

Low dps spells? Dafuq you talking about? I can hit 15k in 1.5 GCD with frost bolt, frost fire bolt and ice lance with trinket procs

Also I know how much they rape in retail. On occasion I watch Reckful's livestream (rouge/warrior pvp hero) and he sometimes does rouge Mage 2s and the frost Mage does double his DMG every arena and they can kill a target in 2 seconds literally

Edit: also if you think 15k burst is low, lets talk about fire burst in pvp, I can hit 13k+ pyros on an instant cast.
