Magic-WoW Cata

In my opinion, the fact you have to get to know a new community, level up a new toon, and gear up is not a problem. In fact, those are some of the most enjoyable things to do while playing WoW. If you're an achievement whore, well that might be something holding you back from the transfer to freakz. Also I personally don't like learning new scripts for new dungeons, I just like the competitive aspect of raiding, aka the recount meters, so that might be another variable in this discussion.

Overall though, If you enjoy playing the game, enjoy playing with your friends, I suggest you transfer to the most stable, developing, and advanced server out there (which is probably freakz but I have not done any research on the topic)

I found a replacement for my addiction to the competitive raiding/PvP of WoW so I won't be joining you guys on Cata or even MoP if that is ever released on a private server. In any case, I hope you guys settle into a place where you can enjoy yourself.

+1 FBang, and this new community thing is not even valid, as the only small community we had was our own guild, and the same ppl we can have there too, there wud no 'change' we will have the same ppl who are still holding on to 'Aftermath' and ADDED to it a whole lot of more ppl out there in the server, whom we can choose to interact with and to what extent we like.
i mean we did download whole 4.3 rite? some of us did join the ptr too rite? to check out freakz is almost the same thing, 1 realmlist away. its not like you will have to delete the chars on magic to come to freakz!

For your information, I just hit the level cap and playing ranked games (lvl cap required) and starting to climb the pvp ladder with the closest champs to a frost Mage and feral/resto Druid (aka anivia and nidalee)

You can't transfer anywhere with a dead guild, I can count the active people here with one hand. You guys can always move to Freakz and play there (even though atm even magic has more active bosses lol). At the end, there's no bright future for any server anyway.

Sids and why are you so sure about this?

cuz ive played there for around idk about 1.5 years now? and it hasnt given me any solid reason to quit wow at all.

So if frekaz didnt gave you any reason to quit and magic had you can't be so sure that magic wont get better eventually.

i just hope for the best of magic as u guys are planing to stay here, else its quite management disaster what i can call it, and what i can be sure of is freakz wud always have a faster progression not because shocker (owner) is my cousin or something but because it has got way more ppl in general and way more donors than magic.

management disaster example: when we were about to disband AM, and some other ppl also QQd about how ridiculous were the server rates, they suddenly made the rates soo low and made pugs vmad, and then suddenly they realize it was a bad move and they revert it, as if it were toy to play around with, without actually thinking about servers general health.

the example that you gave doesnt have anything with management disaster lol...people were asking for lower rates and they tried it out and when they saw how much harder it is to gear up with lower rates they changed their mind and ofc they put it back as it was cause they would loose too many players even more then they had...So i dont see any management disaster here..

the people who were complaining was us and we had already left, still they took the decision soo fast, i mean its just a display of how easily they are doing things on random complains/suggestions without considering the cons which were quite obvious, m-wow main population is spanish pugs and they wud obviously not like wat they did,

No, half of the server was complaining about the rates.

A majority of the people complaining about the rates were from AM. I can vouch for that because I was one of the ones that made several harsh posts about why the rates needed to be lowered a bit. I never suggested 1x or 2x or whatever BS they made it: that was on their own accord.

What I can't understand about magic-wow is the drop rates are 12x, and for most bosses, the entire loot table usually drops. But then you get to the certain items that EVERYONE wants: Satrina's Impeding Scarab, Death's Verdict, Solace of the Defeated, Dislodged Foreign Object.. and then you realize that there's no way the rates can be 12x, and that out of all the items it's those few that are important to everyone that never seem to drop consistently.

My point is that the rates on magic are not as clear cut as they said to be. There are so many exceptions (I am certain of this) to the drops.

As for Freakz: I can't see myself going to a Romanian based server with the people that are still playing on magic atm, mainly because those people wouldn't 1) want to leave in the first place, and 2) are here because some of us are still here. We have around maybe 50 people that are active in the guild still. Splicing that further isn't going to help anyone.

Maybe if I can get some guarantee that we have enough people transferring to Freakz, then I'd go... but I don't feel like server hopping "hoping" that I'll actually stay and play on the server.
