Sucking at Rotface 25 HC.

Okay here we go:
Vpro ranged guys wiped almost all mele with Vile Gas. Ima marked them with red circles and next time,I dnt care if they saw this topic or not, ima just gkick them. If its ur alt, ok np just l2p, but if main, then join Edinson guild then!

Here we can see 3 druids stacking, 1 already Combat Ressed(Lifembracer), that wiped me and other few mele dps.
Other 2 was: Missreef, Mercilous.

Mercilous at his own place, spaming Chain Heal, vpro! But warlock(Warlockzek) is bored and wanted to help our mele dps! Also u can see here that our mele dps r red, it means they got Vile Gas(In my grp, heck the Touchifice's debuff).

I am sick of this wiping at Rotface, just warning those who r marked in this SS.

Ok my alt is Angeleyess and i have 1 question for u. Have u ever asked yourself why am i standing next to melee? If u didn't don't post ss like this anymore and say that i don't know what to do.

We killed that Rotface with over 5-7 ppl. Question to u: IS THAT FINE? If u doing ur own tactic, then gtfo.
I want u to teach something guys, but if u ignoring all and do w/e u want, dnt bother join 25hc.

I was standing near melee cause ppl were out of range and i had to come closer. That was the reason why was i standing there. I had 2 choices:
1. go closer to melee and save thos ppl with very low hp
2. make a big circle and care of range and let those ppl die.

And i didn't get Vile Gas at all whole raid.

I know this sounds really easy to do.... yea just stay 8 yards away from everyone else, no problem.

It really isn't. People move to get away from green shit on the ground, people move around to go to the offtank for the ooze merging, people move to different locations in the room to avoid the rotating flood. Often enough, a green puddle appears right under the tank and the melee, so the tank has to reposition the boss. When this happens you see the tank, the boss and every melee dpser moving together with the boss.

Thing is, most of the time you have at least 5-6 people moving at the same time, which can cause a problem. It's really unlucky that the person close to the melee gets vile gassed at the exact second, but shit happens.

At fester, keeping 8 yards away from each other is really easy, because the only time that people move is spore time, otherwise they stand in 1 spot for pretty much the entire fight.

Rotface has a lot more things to pay attention to, so fuckups might occur.

Honestly fact of the matter is we almost never wipe on rotface, even tho things like these might happen.
On the other hand, we ALWAYS wipe on fester at least once, or 10 times in a row till everyone just ragequits ( kinda like what happened today).

I'm not trying to say here that standing next to the melee and spamming chain heal is ok, but Im trying to say that while 15 people are moving at the same time (avoiding green shit, slime spray, kiting oozez) someone might get unlucky and wipe half the raid by getting vile gassed at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

You're right about urging people to pay more attention to this mechanic, but you also should know that things like these just happen sometimes. I would honestly just focus on killing FESTER, and THEN think about Rotface.

The fact that we wiped 10 times (liteally) on Festergut 25 heroic today, I think Rotface is the least of our worries atm.

Its fine when shaman stacking with some 1 coz he prooly cant do dots like madafaker rdruid, but PLEASE NOT WITH MELE.
Those raid was like, all mele dps got Vile Gas coz some smart dudu was with them.
Ima mad coz of over 5-7 finished the boss.

I think the orignal problem before all others is the fact that people are not OBSERVANT in raids. For instance... since we are talking about Rotface 25 HC:

1. Everyone has to keep an eye on the OOZE FLOOD and dont just stand still waiting for it to get REALLY CLOSE that you HAVE TO MOVE... its better if you move a LITTLE BIT every time it moves

2. When you get a DEBUFF most people don't realize this and wait until an ooze spawns THEN MOVE - That is terrible. You have to NOTICE the debuff as soon as it is applied to you, then keep an eye on the timer (usually under 10 seconds) and be positioned UNDER the ooze the OT is tanking before the debuff is about to fall off.

3. I know its not as simple as "stay 8 yards apart" but seriously, if you are casting and someone moves close to you, either finish casting and move (if you are doing a crucial heal) or if you are dps -> stop your cast and just MOVE

4. And just a tip about Rotface's "SLIME SPRAY" (frontal AOE)... if all rdps and healers are SPREAD OUT in a circle around the boss only about 1/3 of the rdps/healers will be hit by the spray (as the other 2/3 will already spread out and behind the boss)

Overall, people need to realize ROTFACE IS NOT A DPS RACE... he has NO ENRAGE TIMER for a reason! Dont be greedy with your dpsing just to get the top spot on dps meters... just FOLLOW THE TACTICS

meng pycc has such low fps at fester that he decided to screenshot rotass...

Doesn't matter, he still has a while before his Oozes become unmanageable. Plus, I don't think the soft enrage works properly on MWoW. It kinda speeds up, but doesn't speed up steadily... it's weird.

Bottom line is, the inconsistency in this guild pisses me off... it's not hard to not suck at something you've done several hundred times. Really, believe me, it isn't.

And I remember how we go through icc25hc with no wipe, even rotface, and raid over at fester after 12 wipes.
Imo fester = final boss of icc

Well, yesterday's raid went pretty smooth seeing as we had 13 people over 11k dps. We were at Putricide after 1h and 30 minutes. Only wipe was at Queen, cause of the mobs wiping us. This shows the importance of people knowing how to play their alts, and people that come on mains. Or people that come on alts that can heal/tank as they should.

If you don't know how to play an alt, just contact an officer in-game and ask him about advice, or ask someone in the guild who you see playing that class. If people follow the tactics, do good dps ICC is a joke.

I'm just gonna google in guild, taking mwow mechanic into account and do 20k dps like some of you guys did.

Or roll a hunter and spam kill shot at fester from the start.

There should be main char run some in a while, farming hc tokens or BiS gear. We'll clear ICC in 15 mins like np.
