Honestly, WoW never felt the same after Magic, not even retail did, which is weird considering all the bugs and drama Magic had.

So I started playing WoW again, after 6 years or so? Made me think of you guys.

I'm on a weird custom private server with no classes. It's actually pretty fucking fun, although it's 1x rates, so kinda slow.
It's in closed beta and they're also planning on wiping everyone before launching so not much activity right now.

I finished school last April, took some time off, and now working....Software Engineer at a telecom company.

I'm just doing a masters, in the states you need 150 college credits to be eligible for the CPA designation.
I work at a company as an accountant, we prepare financials and handle regulatory reporting for captive insurance companies (basically companies insuring themselves through subsidiaries).

Hah. Yea. I'm doing alright I guess, would like to move to the US (Trump shitshow aside) for a bit in the near future. Not a whole lot, just games here and there: League, Destiny, BF1, etc. - PS4 games from time to time. Most days I'm just relaxing, catching up on other things in life.

Good stuff. CPA is a grind, but with time you end up with $$$. That's pretty cool actually, I would assume a lot of Fortune 500 do this?

Google. LOL. I don't know what your background/skillset ... Udacity/Coursera all have great intro courses. YouTube channels are a great way to learn too. If you have a programming base/CS fundamentals (e.g. university-level calculus/linear algebra, algorithms/data structures, etc.) and you want to brush up, you can try the Art of Programming. For problems to grind, try Leetcode/Hackerrank.

I work in C, sometimes (rarely) Python when I need scripts/for interviews. I work in an embedded-ish role, so a part of my job also requires basic hardware knowledge.

Lots of resources out there honestly. Take your pick.

Can't go wrong with moving to the US, it's pretty chill even with Trump. I live in Vermont right now and love it, it's pretty relaxed, lax gun laws and cops are chill about alcohol and weed. Hopefully we'll get legal weed soon, but I'm looking to move to the west coast after I get done with all the schooling and certifications.

i have started playing wow again on wow freakz, it's a 7.1.5 patch....not playing as i use to in old days... just playing it to kill time on weekends.
